In the 14 ways to get breakthrough ideas article it was about Mitch Ditkoff explaining what sparks people to get creative plenty of different ways. One of the list of 14 ways the article listed that I agree with is number four, “Making New Connections.” I agreed with is statement because in the article it mentioned, “It happens all of the time in nature. Water, for example, is really just the connection between hydrogen and oxygen.” This stuck out to me because making new connections can be hard sometimes but its normal for connections to happen and when they do happen its like water really just the connection between hydrogen and oxygen just like meeting people once you connect and make that connection you are solid to generate ideas. Another one that stuck out to me was number eight “Taking a Break.” I believe taking a break from a workload of stuff can relax a person and not just the body, but the mind as well which can help one be more creative. The third one that hits it home for me is number 13 “Use Creative Thinking Techniques,” I really liked this one a lot because the writer mentioned Creative thinking techniques are like jumper cables. They spark ignition. They turn potential into kinetic energy. They get you going when you’re stuck. I liked this because I can connected to things like that by bouncing off my friends ideas they can give me that push that I as a creative need.

What new idea is fascinating you? A new idea that is fascinating to me is something I pitched for Women’s volleyball a mini series called “Outside The Office.” This idea I had was to give insight to people who want to know what is like for athletes outside of there sports.

What new possibility has captured your attention? A new possibility that has caught my eye was for sure the idea that Adobe has to make a software for the use of deepfakes. This caught my attention because I wonder if its real and if it is legal to have this happen.

In what ways can you honor this inspiration today? I can honor this by getting off my but and actually doing it. Find time with the players to film be more active in the sports world.
